Natural Language Processing (NLP) is the ability of computers to understand, interpret and manipulate human language. It is an area of AI that uses algorithms and techniques to enable computers to understand and process natural language (spoken or written) in order to extract valuable insights.   • Speech Recognition

    Speech recognition is the method of converting speech into text. Speech recognition software can be used to convert spoken words into written text, or it can be used to transcribe audio recordings of conversations. It’s also possible for a computer to recognize only part of a word or phrase without needing to understand what the rest of the sentence means. For example, if you say “I have an apple” and then say “I want an orange juice” but don’t finish your sentence about wanting an orange juice, it may not know that you want an orange juice because the first part was just one word (apple). Speech recognition software recognizes certain sounds in human language and translates them into letters or numbers on a screen. The more accurate speech recognition software gets at recognizing human language, the more useful it becomes for people who use computers as their primary form of communication like lawyers and journalists. It also helps people with disabilities communicate better through technology by allowing them to type instead of speaking out loud when they are using voice commands on computers like Siri or Google Now on Android devices.

  • Text-to-speech

    Text to speech (TTS) is the process of converting text into audio. TTS software converts written words and phrases into spoken words or sounds that can be heard through a speaker. TTS software recognizes certain sounds in human language and translates them into letters or numbers on a screen, which allows a computer to know what has been said.

  • Automated Summarization

    Automated summarization is the process of creating an abstract summary of the text. It’s used to summarize news articles, blog posts, and other types of written content. Automated summaries are useful for people who want to read a few sentences or paragraphs about something but don’t have time to read the entire article.

  • Machine Translation

    Machine translation is the method of converting one language into another. Machine translation software can be used to translate text from one language into another or it can be used to convert audio recordings of conversations. It’s also possible for a computer to recognize only part of a word or phrase without needing to understand the meaning of the entire sentence.
